Montescudo is a wonderful corner of history and nature just a few steps from the sea, where you can enjoy the renowned gnocchi, cod with potatoes, piadina and special recipes such as desserts and potato ice cream.

The Montescudese potato (the main product) is sold directly from the producer to the consumer, as is the local wine ('Monte dello Scudo', Sangiovese superiore d.o.c.), olive oil, mushrooms, honey, terracotta, local handicrafts (rust-printed canvases), with a general market. An attraction not to be missed.

Gastronomy stands are open from 6 p.m. to 11 p.m. both Saturday and Sunday with all potato products, and on Sunday you can also enjoy gnocchi for lunch from 12 p.m. to 2 p.m. and from 6 p.m. to 11 p.m.
